25 April - On April 1, 1844, this Feast day was established by His Beatitude, Maximos III, Patriarch / Batriyark of the cities of Antioch, Alexandria and Jerusalem, of Cilicia, Syria, Iberia, Arabia Mesopotamia, Pentapolis, Ethiopia, of all of Egypt and the entire East, Father of Fathers, Pastor of Pastors, Bishop of Bishops, the Thirteenth of The Holy Apostles.

The Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be The Theotokos (Mother of God). Mary said yes to that annuncement. (The Annunciation (Al Bisharah) of The Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary) occurred.
Also, the Archangel Gabriel told The Theotokos that her cousin Elizabeth was to have baby.
Soon afterwards, The Theotokos went to help her cousin. (Luke 1:39-56)
When The Theotokos met Elizabeth, her expected baby, who was The Holy Prophet and Glorious Forerunner John the Baptist, recognized the baby that The Theotokos was expecting, Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, as Our Lord, God and Savior and leaped with joy. Elizabeth understood her son's reaction. Elizabeth said "Most blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me". (Lk. 1:42)
The Theotokos replied with a Canticle, which is sometime called the Magnificat.
The Theotokos stayed until after The Holy Prophet and Glorious Forerunner John the Baptist was born.

Part of the Gospel of the Visitation is read on these minor feast days.

O God of all spirits and of all flesh, who have destroyed death, overcome the devil, and given life to the world: grant, O Lord, to the souls of your servants Bucky and Shirley, who has departed from this life, that it may rest in a place of light, in a place of happiness, in a place of peace, where there is no pain, no grief, no sighing. And since You are a gracious God and the Lover of Mankind, forgive him/her every sin he/she has committed by thought, or word, or deed, for there is not a man who lives and does not sin : You alone are without sin, your righteousness is everlasting, and your word is true. You are the Resurrection and the Life, and the repose of your departed servants Bucky and Shirley. O Christ our God, and we send up glory to You, together with your eternal Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and always and for ages upon ages. Amen.
