Apostolos 1 Cor.8:8-9:2

Gospel Mt. 25:31-46
The Gospel for the Third Sunday of the Triodion, the Sunday of the Meat fare, describes the Last Judgement. At the Last Judgement, Holy God will judge all people according to their deeds and sins,
deciding who will be saved to eternal life in Heaven and who will be damned to eternal fire in Hell. We need to think about the consequences of how we act in our life, especially how we treat other people.
Also,
the purpose of this Gospel is to remind us of the right way of
treating every other person--with the love and respect we would give to Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ. This Gospel should lead us to have compassion and love for one another and seeing Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ in every person.
Kontakion, Troparion, Exapostilarion, and Vespers Sticheron or Doxastikon
VESPERS STICHERON (TONE 6)
The trumpets shall blast and the tombs emptied; all men shall arise trembling with fear. Those who have done good shall rejoice with gladness, expecting their reward;
those who have done evil shall tremble mightily, moaning and shaking
as they are sent to their pain and separated from the elect.
Wherefore, O Lord of Glory, be compassionate towards us and make us worthy
to be counted among those You love, for You are good.

O God of all spirits and of all flesh, who have destroyed death, overcome the devil, and given life to the world: grant, O Lord, to the souls of your servants
Bucky and Shirley, who has departed from this life, that it may rest in a place of light, in a place of happiness, in a place of peace, where there is no pain, no
grief, no sighing. And since You are a gracious God and the Lover of Mankind, forgive him/her every sin he/she has committed by thought, or word, or deed, for
there is not a man who lives and does not sin : You alone are without sin, your righteousness is everlasting, and your word is true. You are the Resurrection and
the Life, and the repose of your departed servants Bucky and Shirley. O Christ our God, and we send up glory to You, together with your eternal Father and your
all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and always and for ages upon ages. Amen.
