He was observant of Jewish law, healed many people and preached the coming of God's Kingdom. He suffered a most cruel death at the hand of the Romans, death by crucifixion. But while dying Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ forgave his persecutors.
